How to choose sticker materials, shapes and quantities
By Tom, Chief Operating Officer at Printed Simply ·
Start with how your artwork should look on its intended surface. Then choose the cut, finished size and selling unit. These choices determine the exact product you order.
Choose the material
White vinyl gives your design an opaque background. Clear vinyl lets the surface show through unprinted areas. Holographic stock adds a reflective rainbow effect; glitter adds sparkle. Your artwork, lighting and application surface affect the result.
Compare sticker materials
White vinyl
An opaque white base gives your artwork a background of its own.
Clear vinyl
Unprinted areas let the surface underneath show through. The surface color affects the look.
Holographic
A reflective rainbow effect changes with the light and viewing angle. A screen can only suggest the effect.
Glitter
Choose the glitter material for a sparkle effect. Pick the size and finish separately on its product page.
Swatches illustrate the material. Your artwork, lighting and application surface affect its appearance.

Choose the cut and size
Custom die-cut stickers follow your artwork's outline. Circle, square, rectangle and oval stickers give you a defined shape. Kiss-cut stickers are a separate format.
Check the selected width and height in inches. For sheets, those dimensions describe the whole sheet. Open “See selected size and finish” on a product page to see its size illustration, then use that option's artwork requirements.
Count complete selling units
- Sticker sheets: quantity 3 means three complete sheets.
- Five-sheet packs: quantity 2 means two packs, or ten sheets.
- Label rolls: two rolls of 100 labels mean 200 labels. Select the labels per roll separately.
- UV DTF transfers: check whether your selected option is one piece or a complete pack.
Use the supported quantity list and “Compare quantity prices” to compare totals. The listed quantity always applies to the selected size, finish and selling unit.
Check shipping and artwork before payment
The product subtotal covers the goods. The shipping line is a US standard estimate for that SKU and quantity; heavier bulk orders can cost more to ship. Any sales tax is calculated at checkout.
Follow the selected option's file formats, resolution and bleed requirements. Our dispatch target is under 48 hours; carrier transit is additional. Checkout confirms estimated dates and availability.
Common questions
Is material the same as finish?
No. Material is the stock, such as white, clear, holographic or glitter. Gloss and matte are finish choices. Select both on the product page and check the exact size before ordering.
Does quantity mean stickers, sheets, packs or rolls?
It depends on the product. A cut-sticker quantity counts individual stickers. A sheet quantity counts complete sheets. A pack or roll quantity counts complete packs or rolls; its selected option states how many pieces or labels are inside.
Can I enter any quantity?
Choose one of the supported quantities shown for the selected product. The quantity list and bulk-price comparison use the same product pricing. Pack and roll counts stay tied to the selected SKU.
Is shipping included in the product price?
No. Product pages show the product subtotal, an estimated US standard shipping charge and the estimated total before tax. Checkout confirms shipping, any tax and availability before payment.
